Songland’s sale for RSPCA

SONGLAND and RSPCA ACT have teamed up to raise urgent funds for desexing, vaccinating and general care of animals in need at the Weston Animal Care Center.

RSPCA ACT cares for over 7,000 companion and native animals each year. Community support is essential for continuing this vital work with animals in the ACT and surrounding region.

“We always have constant stream of animals coming in so fundraising events like Songland’s Record Sale are integral for us to continue our care of animals in need in the Canberra region. We are extremely grateful to partner with Songland to raise urgent funds for all animals in our care.” said RSPCA ACT Acting CEO Jane Gregor.

This Saturday and Sunday Songland will open their doors and their record vault to raise much needed funds for RSPCA ACT. On hand there will be a large selection of vinyl records with prices starting from $2.

“RSPCA ACT love and respect animals. So do I and my team at Songland, which is why we’ll always support them. We started this idea for “Record Store Day” last year and it’s snowballed from there. The public have been amazing with their donations of thousands of vinyl records, cassette tapes, VHS videos and CD’s, sharing Songland (and Cooleman Court’s) love and support for ALL animals and the wonderful team at the RSPCA.” Brian Harris “Frog” said about the event.

If you would like to donate any vinyl records you can drop them into Songland any time.

Come along and support this great fundraiser.
