Beyond the Gap podcast and Afghan refugees settlement into Australia

This week on the Advocate podcast, we chat with Phil Usher, CEO of First Nations Foundation, an Indigenous financial wellbeing foundation led by an Indigenous majority board since 2006. Phil tells us about their newly launched ‘Beyond the Gap’ podcast which aims to investigate Indigenous Australian’s relationships with corporate Australia.

AMES Australia, a migrant and refugee settlement agency is partnering with cohealth, a not-for-profit community health organisation, in supporting Afghan refugees settling into Australia. Laurie Nowell, media manager at AMES Australia talks to us about this recent partnership.
